Stars are so far away

In the deep, dark night
the moon is shining bright
we both held each other tight
gave our selves the deepest sight

We killed the voice of intellect
we dreamed each other far away
I kissed her eyes, I kissed her neck
I turned her mind the other way.

We chased the future down the road
we left the past right far behind
the blazin silver of the moon
spotlight our love and left us blind.

We keep on traveling this endless road
try catch the moon and all the stars
and never get a bit of it
just light through our fingers runs.

The love my dear will follow us
I keep it deep inside my heart
but never this will showing up
'cause this was never meant to start.
